DSP wet type floating fish feed machine is mainly used to produce all kinds of floating or sinking aqua feed for fish, shrimp, eel, bullfrog, etc. It can also be adopted to produce feed pellets for a pet, such as a dog, cat, and so on. Raw materials for this machine can be corn, soybean meal, rice barn, fish meal, rice barn, etc.
The DSP wet-type floating fish feed machine is primarily designed to manufacture both floating and sinking aqua feed for fish, shrimp, eel, bullfrog, and more. Additionally, it can be adapted to produce feed pellets for pets such as dogs and cats. The machine utilizes raw materials like corn, soybean meal, rice bran, fish meal, and others. The produced feed pellets come in sizes ranging from 0.9 to 15mm. This wet-type fish feed pellet machine is best suited for medium or large-sized feed pellet plants and aquaculture farms. Its production results in expanded feed particles with a neat and smooth formation, ensuring they float for over 12 hours without sinking, preventing water pollution, and reducing the risk of fish diseases through sterilization.

The operation of the extruder machine revolves around three key processes: pretreatment, cooking, and die shaping. The continuous supply of hot steam from the boiler to the conditioner ensures thorough cooking, enhancing the nutritional value of the mixture. This cooking process leads to a significant gelatinization of starch, contributing to the feed's excellent water stability. The fish feed extruder, featuring a prolonged barrel with an internal auger, is intricately designed to subject the feed mixture to high temperatures and steam pressure. As the feed exits the barrel's end, the trapped steam is rapidly expelled, causing the soft and warm pellets to expand, resulting in low-density floating pellets. Subsequently, cutting equipment shapes the pellets to the desired lengths. The extruder's versatility allows for the production of feed with various characteristics.
Please be aware that our fish feed extruder features a single-screw design. The temperature of the extruded pellets typically reaches around 80°C, with a moisture content ranging between 18% to 20%. Should the output exceed 500kg/h, it is recommended to include a dryer and a cooler in the setup. For smaller volumes, sun-drying is a suitable option.
